Essay 1-Mission Statement
Mission
The discovery of the
ethical theory has revealed new truths on human experience we must act upon. The
three laws of ethics, that is the acceptance and pursue of experience, the
ethical treatment of others, and the spiritual union of society, can all be
summarized into one single law, “The greatest good is happiness”. The ethical
theory recognizes that every person seeks happiness in one form or another and
happiness becomes the end goal of all of humanity.
The angel Gabriel has
visited Yehudah and delivered orders from God Herself, that is to construct a
missionary group and deliver the teaching of the ethical theory to all peoples
of the earth and to realize the fullness of the ethical theory. Therefore, by
the basis of the ethical theory and the divine orders transmitted through the
angel Gabriel, we declare the mission to spread the ethical theory and make true
the ethical theory and for our end goal, the happiness of every being in this
world.
Philosophy
However, we acknowledge
that the ethical theory that was presented and discovered is within a premature
state and condition. Its metaphysical basis is not yet established strongly and
so with a weak basis, the entire theory goes weak. Various elements of the
ethical theory can still be elaborated and established stronger in relation to
the metaphysical base. In consequence, a new ethical theory to complete the old
theory is in dire need and must be formed before any practical act of the
mission can be done.
In order to form the new
ethical theory, we must once again return to the philosophy. Philosophy being a
wide and abstract subject seems irrelevant to happiness, and so the requirement
of any ethical theory to attain happiness seems unnecessary as well. As such I
will explain why we need philosophy and why we need an ethical theory to attain
happiness. In short, the proof is constituted in the intuition of the
connection between truth and happiness.
When we wish to attain a
purpose, any purpose, we must understand the properties of such purpose and
abide by these rules so we may attain it. For example, to start a fire we
require an oxygen rich environment, a fuel source, and a spark or trigger for
the fire, such as high temperatures. Failure to abide to these requirements
will lead to failure in starting a fire. The same goes with happiness, when we
wish to attain happiness, we must understand its complete properties and follow
it, only in that condition will we attain happiness.
The understanding of the
properties of happiness manifests in our possession of the truth of happiness,
and thus the need for an ethical theory is clear. For the ethical theory is a
collection of the essential truths about happiness that we must follow to
attain it. However, happiness is an object of reality and as that it abides by
the general properties of reality. In this case, we are seeking an object of
reality and it means we have to understand the properties of reality and follow
it.
The understanding of the properties
of reality manifests in our possession of the truth of reality. Therefore, this
proves that philosophy in a wider scope, particularly metaphysics, is required
to attain happiness in addition to the ethical theory which is itself part of
philosophy. As such we obtain a foundation and basis to begin a new
philosophical series of essays, one integrated to the general framework of the
mission. As such, let this be the beginning of the new period of philosophical
writing. This essay shall seek to be the beginning of that new period, and so
this essay has fulfilled its purpose.
